PCA and WriterHouse team up to present “An Insider’s Guide to Artist Colonies & Residencies” a panel discussion on Thursday, September 13 from 12:00pm to 1:30pm CitySpace.

Megan Marlatt, Sharon Shapiro, Sheila & Craig Pleasants of the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts, and others will discuss the ins and outs of artist colonies and residencies, including:

What’s it like to create work at a colony or in a residency?
How do you find one that’s right for you?
What scholarships and stipends are available to support you?
What do I do now that my residency is over?

These and other questions will be covered in a high-energy panel discussion, followed by an audience Q&A. Lunch will be provided for all registered attendees. Admission is $5 for PCA or WriterHouse members ($10 for non-members).
