Award-winning alternative political cartoonist Jen Sorensen, whose comic "Slowpoke" is featured in C-VILLE Weekly, presented a slideshow of her work, chatted with readers, and signed copies of her new book, One Nation, Oh My God! at WriterHouse on Wednesday, June 11, 2008, at 7pm.

One Nation, Oh My God! collects Sorensen's latest cartoons and commentary, covering everything from Gay Republican Guilt Camp to virtual donuts.

“Slowpoke” runs in many publications around the country, including the Village Voice and Funny Times, and has appeared in the Los Angeles Times, Ms. Magazine, and The American Prospect.
