SLUMPerparty: This Weekend!

Gather at Writer House at 6pm this Saturday 11/20 for a sleepover!

Bring blankets/sleeping bags and pillows and prepare for a night of epic word warring! Food is being ordered, and we might even go for something other than pizza (Basil?), but either way the order goes in at 6:30, so be there if you want some!

If the idea of a night away from your comfy bed is too much, stay as late as you like, and then meet us in the morning when the wrimo gang heads to The Tavern for a celebratory breakfast. (Please feel free to come to breakfast even if we don’t see you Sat! All are welcome.)

Details:
- Shindig starts at 6pm 11/20 (Saturday)
- Dinner delivery order made at 6:30pm
- Writing through the night! And maybe a few ZZZs.
- 9:30am 11/21, Sunday, head to The Tavern for breakfast
- Go home and bask in the glory of a night of truly epic writing!

Next Write-in Saturday

Saturday, 11/13, from 2-5pm, join Louise and Rachel and the rest of the gang for a write-in. There’s still a lot of halloween candy left, so no worries. Alas, Sophia won’t be joining us, so some other brave soul will have to serve as mistress of the word wars. On Tuesday we had around 12 people. Hope to see you all here.

Come to Writer House (508 Dale Ave) for a write-in from 6pm-9pm on Tuesday the 9th! We still have candy, if you can believe that … come catch up if you’re behind, or try to build up your “oh no, Thanksgiving!!!” buffer!

And just a quick note: don’t give up! Are you hopelessly behind? NO SUCH THING. Even if you don’t think you could possibly make it to 50k, please don’t be feel bad. As long as you’re still trying, please come hang out with us. The whole point of NaNoWriMo is to go for a tough goal while basking in the support of other writers – come get some!

Saturday: Breakfast @ The Tavern, Then Write-In at WH!

Come eat pancakes with other wrimos at 10am at The Tavern, and if you can resist a nap afterwards come get your daily wordcount with us at Writer House.

The Tavern is still making pumpkin pancakes, and Sophia is convinced they are magical. Come try some!
