One of the fun things about Cville is that our wrimo population is split between Cville residents and UVA students – this year, we have a lovely UVA Liaison helping to organize the collegiate wrimos, and she and her co-Prez of the UVA Write Club have been giving daily prompts for their awesome October Boot Camp, which is designed to help you get up to writing at NaNo speeds.

The first week, their daily word count goal was 500 words — this week’s is 1000! Can you do it?

The prompt:

“Write 1000 words on characters that rebel against the author and do what they want, possibly defying all laws of logic and suspension of disbelief.”

I’m going to try to do this later this afternoon, and post in the comments — good luck, wrimos!
